We are looking for 10 Frontline Workers, ideally in leadership positions, who could benefit from tools to improve nervous system regulation to reduce burn out and enhance co-regulation amongst their teams. We are offering these 10 participants free attendance to this 5 day program with additional support to integrate the learnings into their work environment.

We focus on the nervous system because it is the connection between the mind and body. When it is dysregulated (due to previous life experiences), our sleep, hormones, digestion, cognitive function, reactivity, performance and more are affected.

The program takes a systems approach to reversing the sympathetic dominant state (chronic activation of the flight/flight/freeze/fawn response) by addressing the physical, mental, emotional, nutritional and existential factors that affect the nervous system.

The multi-model program includes:

SYMPATHETIC DOMINANCE PROTOCOL
Workshops, demonstrations and a tune up focussed on addressing the effects of a chronically activated sympathetic nervous system.

BREATHWORK
Breathwork can elicit the parasympathetic nervous system response and, in some cases, euphoric or insightful experiences.

YOGA
Integrate mind, body and energy, improve mood, reduce stress and build strength, flexibility and balance.

HEART RATE VARIABILITY
(HRV) TRAINING

Up-train the parasympathetic state to lower the baseline of stress, reduce overwhelm and enhance recovery and emotional regulation.

COLD THERMOGENESIS
Nervous system regulation training, helping to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and improve immune function.

MOVEMENT FOR NEUROPERFORMANCE
Improve mind-body connection by combining movements to train vision, balance and proprioception.

INTRO TO NEUROMEDITATION WORKSHOP
An Introduction to the concepts used in QEEG Brain Mapping, Neurofeedback, and Neuromeditation in a workshop format.

TRAUMA RELEASE EXERCISES (TRE)
Restore the body’s natural mechanism for releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Choose from Healthy Cooking Hacks, Dorsal Vagal Deep Dive, EFT and more.

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

A diet and eduction to reduce inflammation, reverse deficiencies, improve gut health and boost neurotransmitter production.

SWEAT LODGE
The fire element, an opportunity to self-regulate and overcome a challenge as a group. Purification of the mind and body.

INTEGRATION
An integration protocol to assimilate the program into day-to-day life.

The Location

Located on the banks of the Alva River in Oliveira do Hospital, Aqua Village Health Resort & Spa offers a serene oasis to relax and restore.

The mineral hot spring waters on the property are used in one of the pools which is maintained at 34 degrees (93F) for optimal relaxation and combined with massage hydrotherapy jets.

There are also two outdoor pools, one covered and the other uncovered, a sauna, steam room and gym. There are many options for additional spa services including massages, facials and therapies involving the hot spring water. Spa services are limited and reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, you can see the menu below.

The nearest airport is Porto (OPO). We provide complimentary shuttles at 11 am and 1 pm on Arrival Day and 9 am and 12 pm on Departure Day.
