Aleksandra Tarka
Neuroscientist
Aleksandra has had a lifelong interest in the mind, reality and the relationship between them. The deep desire to understand the Universe took her to academic sciences like Neuroscience and Mathematics as well as more direct mind exploration.
She started her meditation journey in New York Zen Mountain Monastery at the beginning of 2015, when she got her first teaching in a variety of meditation practices. Moreover, she explored the mind through psychedelics like ayahuasca, bufo, and microdosing of Iboga. She also did intensive Biocybernaut Alpha Neurofeedback training, a Dispenza week-long event, and stayed at a South Korean Zen monastery for almost three months where she was given the Buddhist name Jeong Hae meaning Still Ocean.
Her love for science manifested in her Master's degree in Neuroscience as well as EEG analysis, Neurofeedback and Neuromeditation training. She loves Silence and her favorite quote is by Zen Master Dogen. "If you can't find the Truth right where you are, where else do you expect to find it?" She is also a huge fan of dreams and actively practices lucid dreaming.
